Jayne L. Bisio

September 4, 1933 ~ March 20, 2020 (age 86)

Jane Lorraine Bisio passed away March 20, 2020 in Suisun City, CA, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Born September 4, 1933 in Concord, CA, Jane spent her childhood in Clayton, graduated from Mt. Diablo High school in 1951, and earned her AA degree at Diablo Valley College, where she met her lifelong best friend of 65 years, Jackie Delacy. She received her Registered Nurse degree from Highland Hospital’s nursing program in Oakland and worked in the operating room there and at several doctor offices in Martinez. On June 28, 1958, she married the love of her life, Bartholomew Bisio, and would later become a devoted full-time wife and mother to four wonderful children: Peter, Paul, Patrick and Pamela. Jane enjoyed horseback riding, reading, spending time with her dogs, cooking, long car rides, going to the movies, and tanning in the sunshine while listening to her favorite Neil Diamond song, “I am, I said.” Jane also loved gathering her family at their cabin in Santa Cruz and going to her favorite beach, Seacliffe. She was an accomplish bowler, involved in leagues into her late 60’s. Her final years were spent in comfort and happiness while living with her daughter Pamela and family. Jane is survived by her sons, Peter Bisio and Patrick Bisio (Nancy), and her daughter Pamela Bisio (Alex), and was preceded in death by her husband Bart Bisio (2010), and son Paul Bisio (2011). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren: Corrina, Austin, Alex, Dominic, Aydan, Patrick Jr., Ashley, Nicolas, Anthony Bisio, Anthony Flores, and Audrey; and her six great grandchildren: Paulie, Kaylee, Mathew, Ramona, Anthony Jr., and Willow. Services will be private and the family asks that all donations be made to Jane’s favorite place: the Martinez Boys and Girls Club. Please contact the family for instructions regarding flowers.
